ORIGINAL: SylvereApLeanan Low rise jeans were designed by Satan to give all but the most anorexic women muffin tops and boot cut jeans are just a desperate attempt by aging hippies to grasp at the last remnants of youth by pretending bell bottoms are still fashionable. Actually, I used to think this too. And then I started traveling. Women with the right body shape actually look great in the low rise jeans - I see many women in parts of So. America and in Asia who look amazing in these. It was actually a revelation for me! I remember thinking that the problem is that the jeans' design was brought to a place where women have the wrong body type for them. I wear yoga pants pretty much every day. I started this when I worked with children - I didn't want to wear a suit because it would get ruined, I didn't want to wear jeans because they weren't professional enough, and I stumbled upon the stretchy yoga pants that allowed me to be very flexible and to not spend a boat load of money. They look good, they feel great, and everything goes with black! My standard look now is yoga pants, a great pair of (flat) shoes - I work on a mountain for goodness sakes, and going from one building to another means walking down the mountain, and then up the mountain. Nearly 200 steps just to get in the dang building where I work!. I add a nice blouse, a jacket, and off we go! Yoga pants - they're the best thing ever invented. I have a few pairs of jeans, but I rarely wear them. Funny, I don't feel feminine enough in them. But my yoga pants - I feel very swishy woo woo. Yay! for swishy woo woo. best, sunshine
