I wouldn't use Alertpay right now. There are some people complaining that Alertpay ripped them off and didn't give them their money. If the OP has access to Greendot prepaid Visa cards, that might be a better way to go.

Whilst I can't say too much about it as it never bothered me so far as a non-smoker and as I don't know how it is over there in your country, but here when you travel in from other countries you can only take with you a certain amout of cigarettes within the regulations from duty free, hence why my uni mate had to pay up a fair amount when she was found out to have brought into the UK more cigarettes than she was alowed to do. Skinny, these people are fucking with you. If I read it right they supposedly want you to send you money right ?

That is the most common scam intro in the world, where have you been ? There is only one way to get money anomymously and I ain't telling. All others pay. You get a payment from someone, it was bogus. Through the maze of bank regulations they make it so you owe them that money back, or something similar. And if you don't pay you can't have a bank account anymore. Fun huh ?

Why do they want to send you money ? I am the nicest guy in the world and if they offer me a dollar I turn it down. Even without a scam a payment means an obligation of some type. Now if you are trying to scam the scammers I can go with that, but by my estimation even if you had a notion of that, you would be totally out of your league.

This is 2011, nobody gives away money.
