I don't think that's true.

Groups For Prosser Outspent Opponents By 50%
by The Intertubes | April 5, 2011 - 8:33pm

The right is always going to have and spend more money.

The Citizens United US Supreme Court decision guarantees it, and if Walker's union-busting bill becomes law, much less money will be available to union-supported candidates, too. And Walker wanted us to believe that it was a "budget-repair" bill.

Why is she ahead by 204 votes ? Unions spent 3.5 million on her campaign, outspending Prosser 3 to 1. Your national union dues at work.

Attack ads unfortunately work. 3.5 million bought a lot of them.

Hey Brian, do you not get that the web page you linked to is paid for by the unions?

slvemike4u -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/6/2011 8:39:18 PM)

Bite tongue,,,,bite harder....I'm fucking bleeding here,someone take that..! Please....stat!!!!!

Brain -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/6/2011 8:49:04 PM)

That union webpage tells the truth. In any case this webpage is not paid for by the unions and he spent more money than she did and he lost anyway.

A People’s Victory in Wisconsin: Supreme Court Race Too Close To Call

The odds were stacked against Joanne Kloppenburg in this election; she was out-spent in this race, unseating a sitting justice is exceptionally rare, and she was squaring off against an incumbent in an off year election. Just two months ago, Kloppenburg was down by 30 points. The spirit of Wisconsinites is infectious; they are leading the way for the rest of the people, fighting back against Draconian Republican Governors determined to destroy the middle class. Getting Kloppenburg’s votes up to 50% against an incumbent in an off year is a noteworthy achievement.

The election results prove that Republicans have already lost major ground in territories where they prevailed in 2010. This election is but one battle in the war of the people against a party bent on destroying their rights. If the gasps of horror and shock at the Prosser headquarters last night were any indication, Wisconsinites brought their righteous anger to the ballot box last night and sent a shiver of fear down the spines of those who thought they were invincible. Prosser was expected to coast in this election, but instead he got a rousing challenge from the people.

This closeness of this race is a victory for the people in Wisconsin; they fought hard and it shows. This morning, smart Republican strategists are sweating as they map out the changes in the districts that went for Walker just months ago.

You promised to cut off your head last time, so I seriously doubt anyones taking you too seriously now.

Click on Brians link though, its a cheesy web site, looks totally home made. Then it links to a nobody post on a no name blog as its source for the story...

Totally hilarious

Hey Brain, how about you ask sanity about the impartiality of many of the sites he has,in the past, posted links to.Ask him just how discerning he is when it comes to sources.Point out to him that it is unseemly for a man who lives in a glass house to be tossing rocks around [:)]
That is ,of course,if you feel like asking him any questions. Not that I would suggest you expect a damm answer....but at times the asking is sufficient.

Sanity -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 3:33:46 AM)

For one to talk, do you ever source anything, mike? Do you ever address the topic?

But regarding your attempted smear, why not address the links I post as I post them rather than come at me with these typical broad, underhanded and false allegations, because I usually link to solid news articles. I will sometimes link to an opinion page for opinion or to a different page for humor, etc., or a page that I link to may contain external links to a solid news source. Or it may have embedded video of an interview, something like that, but its always clear enough and solid enough.

Brian linked to a union paid, union ran website for "news" about a fight between unions and state officials, and I am sorry for you if you cant see the differences, or the problem with Brians sourcing, I truly am.

flcouple2009 -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 4:28:30 AM)

You are so funny.

The vast majority of the time you post an opinion page which you then try and pass of as news.

Sanity -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 4:30:35 AM)

Another one to talk! [:D]

You never post news links, and you never post on topic, you never contribute. The very best you have to offer are broad, underhanded, false smears such as this.

Lucylastic -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 5:04:09 AM)

The race was on track to be the most expensive Wisconsin high court contest in history. Groups backing both candidates spent $300,000 to $400,000 per day on TV ads right up until election day, according to a group that studies judicial spending.Wisconsin has a recent history of costly Supreme Court races. Outside groups spent a then-record $3.4 million here in 2008, according to the Brennan Center for Justice, a New York University program that tracks spending on judicial races. After a quiet 2009 race and no race in 2010, spending this year reached a new high — $3.5 million through Monday.

Im guessing that the unions didnt pay for Prossers campaign, so someone somewhere has their figures wrong(colour me shocked!!), Im gonna go with AP on this one.

housesub4you -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 6:52:24 AM)

Well facts would be nice  The amount you give is the total for both parties.  With the breakdown as follows

Prosser  over $2.2 million from 3 Conservatives groups

and $1.4 for the liberal

So it looks like the GOP man had all the outside money rolling in

FACTS  something GOP or its supporters want to talk about

Lucylastic -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 6:55:22 AM)

I had stuff to do this morning, so I didnt hunt the figures down, but as servent had zilch backing up his figures I pointed out the figure was combined in a news article that was from a real (!!!!) website

Real0ne -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 6:57:45 AM)

we can sleep well knowing that a recount will tell us the truth because we have electronic voting machines ALL of which are easily hackable!   In fact it does not pay to even vote anymore.

Let the "leaders" do it for us they know better!!

Oh don't worry pointing out your BS is always on topic.

servantforuse -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 7:05:58 PM)

Apparently there was a computer error. 14,000 votes were not counted. Prosser is up by nearly 8000 votes..

Lucylastic -> RE: Recall?? who da Judge? (4/7/2011 7:07:54 PM)

Maybe RO was right this time...
