You have a bad memory, there was jubilation on the first day. After the first year however and various civilian deaths later they were getting a bit hacked off with their liberation and wondering if the insurgents would do a better job at protecting civilians. In Libya it's, for all intents and purposes, a civil war and the latest pet project of the west. North Korea, Iran and the likes are on the backburner. I loved the way it only took about a week for the head of the Arab League to contradict what they had asked for and then conveniently say he was taken out of context. Anyone with half a brain in the west wouldn't get involved in that no win/no end situation and the likes of the Arab League.
