The person who wrote the headline needs to take some basic math (6th grade level or so)

100% above the normal level is double.

therefore 3300% is 33 times the background level.

Not several thousand as the headline states..


He's only off by 2 orders of magnitude.

You're relying on a blog for reliable scientific data??????  Check the links he provided and you'll get a much different story.   In addition, understand the difference between an MCL and naturally occurring levels.    Most rainwater exceeds MCLs for something and the EPA doesn't recommend drinking rainwater because of this.
