Alright, that's going to be a bit complicated technical question. I am currently hosting a bot for a CM room where I am an operator. It's based on mIRC scripts and served by my own PC. What I want to do is hiring a Linux server, deconstructing an open-sourced IRC client and modifying it in order to use it in my hired server. I am stuck at a very basic step: CollarMe chat connection requires me to set my e-mail to "SirLost@" (the ****'s are the 'at' sign). But there isn't any password variable in open-source IRC clients I've ever found. I can't connect to CM servers only with my password (that long one) and nickname. So it seems like I need to hire a Windows server with mIRC again?
