The best place to find a Mentor is at your local munch.  Get to know the people.  Find someone you click with.  Ask that person to give you some advice.

I can relate to that too. I am very discerning as to who I mentor in the personal protection field and also prefer advanced students. I find it enjoyable to me mentoring someone close to my own level and there is always the hope that the student will indeed surpass the Master as has happened on several occasions. the same also applies in Lodge where I have a mentoring class for hopefuls who are at mid level of initiations and training.. ..

Either meet people and make friends in your local community. Or read the boards and when you find yourself agreeing with one person most of the time, write them and ask if they would mind giving you some advice.

Plus just post on the forums and you won't get one mentor, you'll get dozens of thought provoking posts.

i dont mentor as such, but i do seem to be on the other end of the phone or msn to a lot of young switches who just want info, not wank fodder.

I'm getting the vibe that you want your Mentor to be a Dominant? I do not recommend that. You're better off with someone of your own orientation (male sub for male sub, Female Domme for Female Domme.)
