Welcome johnny The "other side" (profiles) does take a bit of patient searching to get past those who do it for $$ (they have their place, it suits some to pay for play) ... the fakes (and yes there are some of those too) ... to the lifestylers who are genuine about WIIWD (what it is we do). So don't dismiss it, just accept it will take a while to find people you are really interested in contacting. The forums are much better places to chat to genuine people, to learn, to find out more about events and how they work, which can help a lot in taking those steps out into meatlife. Good luck!
