THIS is a really simple GREEN idea and really looks like it works. Granted it won't for for everyone in every situation, but hey, it still has plenty of applications in the world.

If you only knew what I almost got into. A grow room underground with a solar conduit to provide light as well as heat. Water from a nearby stream. Exhaust by convection.

The project got called off or "reasons". If it would've happened I would be quite well to do by now. Close to a million in revenue the first year with practically no overhead, except amortization of the cost of building the facility. One downstroike, forever income. Set for life. We were so close to actually doing it.

But the solar conduit thing I understand, and I wanted the full spectrum. So there would be air filters but no actual plates of anything for the light. And the conduit would've also acted as a chimney for ventilation. This underground lair might just have been better than outdoors.

But for one mistake (not mine) it didn't happen. Oh well.

I have several solar lights around my yard, in case of power failure I just bring them in. Safe for the kittys, no chance of fire if they knock them over.
