Just a quick note to say thanks to all who've helped with great advice over the past few years.
It is time, however, for us to leave collarme.  We've been searching for 3+ years and have found only frustration.
It is time to move on.

I'm happy for those of you who've found someone special via this site.
And thanks again for all the great advice offered along the way.

Good luck to those still searching.

Seriously I just looked at your profile and if I were single (I am not) or poly (no again) I would totally be interested. Your profile is great, you are well written, clear, emotionally invested in it, I love your descriptions about what to expect while living with you..I mean as far as CM goes, that's a pretty A profile.

You are searching on the wrong side dare I say darlings. Every single person of substance that I have met through CM, including real life friends, has been from forum interaction. The one person I met on the other side was a complete and fucking horrible little prick of a man (and I do mean that literally) that spent months harassing me. Not that I carry a grudge. [;)].

Anyway...get over here, hang out in the forums, start in P&RS, lots of nice people, I wouldn't give up CM until you have at least given all of it a chance not just the other side.

Just a thought...

You know, OP, sometimes people get better exposure to a lot of good people by posting on the forums. Sometimes people get to know you better through your posts. It's too bad that the first post you ever made was one saying you are leaving. You say you've been searching, but your profile says you only joined five months ago. I didn't check out your individual profiles mentioned on the couple's profile, but I'm sure they were on for longer. Sometimes it takes years to meet "the one" on any site. I would stick around and post some on the message boards. And, if you are really giving up on Collarme, there is always that "other" site....fetlife.com.

There is absolutely no logic in the premise: "I have had little luck finding someone, so I am therefore going to reduce the available avenues I have by which to find someone out of [pouting? disgust? impatience? spite?]"

Unless this waving goodbye to people you never introduced yourself to in the first place is just a clever ploy for attention. In which case, I'd actually offer a decent clap for the plan.

I don't understand why fleshandrust are being vilified for not posting in the forums. I only do so when something piques my interest. Why is it that so many of the posters here, with literally thousands of posts each, are so often judgmental of others. They may be nice people but really they need to get a life.

And Yes, this is me being judgmental... but I have a life too...

Psssttt....I wasn't being judgmental, unless offering helpful advice that worked for me and lots of my real life friends is judgmental.  It's sort of proven that you "meet" far more people on this side than the other. Look at the meet up threads, or the positive experiences threads for example.

Now, I may be judgmental for saying you seem kind of.....prickish? Let me know k?
