And this guy is a presidential hopeful?? seriously?
Arent you just so proud of him as a honest man??

It's called a gaffe, Lucy. It seems like they all do it sometimes. A politician opens his mouth, and something really stupid comes out. Did you know our President down here once announced he'd been to all 58 states?

There are a couple of reasons I can't imagine supporting Huckabee, but this won't add to them.

And dammit, make sure you throw in a wink from now on when you accuse me of wandering in the shadows below the bridge.

Actually, out of the entire GOP field, Huckabee's been the most honest and the least critical of Obama.  He's trying to run on his own merits instead of cutting down Obama.  I agree with Rich that he just goofed up.

However, I don't see him having a snail's chance while Palin's in the equation.  She'll pull from his base.

I do know he has been different to many politicians in his treatment of Obama,
but to say this is just a gaffe is is an understatement
a gaffe is saying fifty eight states, it was a one time thing
But how many times did he say  kenya, why did he bring the uprising and the break with the brits "because he was "living in kenya"? Nothing to do with indonesia where he certainly did spend time.
This was a clusterfuck gaffe and beyond and certainly makes him appear clueless, if not manipulative and an out an out lying shit stirrer.
Im well aware that politicians are all manipulative lying assholes but really, this is beyond a gaffe

I find it amazing that we have someone who has become a talk show host being seriously considered as a Presidential candidate.

Is this really what we have stooped to in this country?

Reagan was a Governor, Huckabee was a Governor, Clinton and Carter were Governors.

The least qualified candidate in the last fifty years is probably Obama.

The mistake itself is not the major problem. Huckabee could have done the same job using Obama's childhood episode as a  muslim Barry Soetoro in Indonesia. Even Hawaii could do the job. In reality it has rather remote colony flavor  compared  to mainstream USA. It is not nice to bring up childhood this purely speculative way.

A gaffe my tuckus!    It should not be of any consequence, where an American born US president grew up.   That gaffe was orchestrated to please the RIGHT audience.     The Pres may be half white, but don't get it wrong, he is still not like "one of us."  

I used to like Huckabee; but I guess God's work comes secondary to the desire to be in the highest office in the US, and arguably, the world.    M

NOW, lets get back to the issue... where exactly is Dear Leader from? The reporter talks with certainty about it, but still we have no official birth certificate. I can produce one for Me. Why can't an elected president? I find that odd. But to leftists, you see, the constitution and laws are written for other people. You pick and choose the ones you like, you discard the rest, and say it was written by dead old white guys. I do think your Dear Leader has an out of the mainstream upbringing... Indonesia schooled, Muslim schools, Rev Wright and his "liberation theology." certainly nothing I want in a president of the USA, maybe president of egypt or nigeria, but not USA.

Not very bright for a president is it? And as far as spending goes, I've heard people say "is he that stupid or just incompetent?" I answer, no no.. he is not stupid nor incompetent.
