Well you may also have some copyright infringement as well since you have already published the material.

But, like I said. The internet enforcement is lax. You'd have an easier time just talking to the site owner instead of trying to go to the litigation route.

When my company gets DMCA notices from our site's hosting provider, we are instructed to remove the offending page within 24 hours or they will shut down our whole site.

DIS - any updates?

Talk of getting a lawyer- I doubt would be cost effective.

I've been in the same situation as you. I spoke with the cops here in town, and they said that there was nothing they could do since I agreed to the photos being taken in the first place. Certainly doesn't seem right, but the law is hardly ever correct anyway. What I was able to do, however, was to contact the website that my pictures were posted on and let them know that I did not give permission for them to be posted. It took a day or so, but they were taken down. Best of luck to you!
