From all of your touching posts regarding this obviously fine fellow, how you admired and benefitted from him, and from what grief and loss you feel by his departure, I feel robbed by having missed the opportunity to know him. Surely he knows, as do those close to him, how much he meant to you. Let this be a reminder to us all to be and do our very best to others at every opportunity, as life is short, and none of us is promised our next breath.

I have thoughts like that a lot, Duskypearls. I lost two very close friends in the past year, several acquaintances and family members, and now another friend... Bob was a great person.

Ahh, dear Lady, so much recent loss you have had. My heart goes out to you.

I wonder if on this site, a person has the ability to collectively, or otherwise, persue a particular persons past posts? I should like to look back on Bob's.

If his profile is still up, there is a button that says "view forum posts". I add my condolences to those who knew him.

Duskypearls,

Bob posted under the name DesertRat.  You can go to the top of any page
then in the small print under the flags click "Search"  you can search by Author.

For Bob you could start with this humor he shared.  Archaeology humor: The Fish Guys
