Here I am in the northern Ca valley.. with snow on my car.
Elevation 195 feet.

Wow
Hell has frozen over.

He might be right. In central nor cal, they are predicting snow flurries down to the 2 ft level.

yesterday here in Omaha, we had a few intermittent flurries but no accumulation. right across the county line, though, 3 inches of snow fell in an hour. there was an 8 car pile up and a closed highway literally like 5 minutes away from completely clear streets. =p

and now... it's snowing here, too.
and slick.
and i almost crashed my car.

and tonight i'll probably go work...

I'm Canadian too, and always said I couldn't live without winter.  Til I went to Florida the first time.  I didn't want to come back.  Now i hate winter, snow, sleet, freezing rain, ice slicked roads, white outs and having to detour 30 miles because the only way home is over a causeway that was shut down last Saturday.  Of course by the time I made the damn detour, they'd re-opened the causeway and I wasted all that time driving in blinding conditions.  O yay for winter, NOT! [>:]

ETA:  When I left for my sleep study Saturday night it was in the high 40's, by the time I left the next morning it was 0F with the windchill.  I was just thrilled beyond words.

Seriously- I dont mind SOME winter.  No hurry for 100 degree humidity.  That wipes me out.

Send it all to FL. They were just saying that we shouldn't worry because it is still warm down there, remember ? Those poor folks need our snow, ALL of it. I'm calling a trucking company Monday.

A friend of mine left Victorville CA, to come home today.  She said her dad scared the bejesus outa her on the trip down the mountain.  It started snowing again before she even made it to the airport.

Paso Robles checking in and confirming snow.  I just has to rescind My RSVP for a play party because the road leading from My house already has one accident on the hill that leads into town.  The road is blocked so nobody is getting in or out.
