Im trying to figure out how any Dr will get on a witness stand and declare, emphatically, that the woman lost the baby due to her own negligence. Just dont see that happening. And what of women who take the morning after pill. Who is going to prove the woman in question was pregnant to begin with?

Obviously the wording in the proposal is illegal: nobody has to prove they are not guilty. Otherwise, I understand the problem the man has. If abortion was made to be illegal, it would in practice be just renamed a miscarriage. Does anybody think the representatives are smart. A few are, the rest just have more money and arrogance than an average Joe.

Those laws were/are no different then blue laws as in Va. way back against any stores being open on Sunday and totally banning liquor-by-the-drink. This guy places a new pre-natal right above the existing living rights of the mother and with a death penalty no less. This man is crazy.

In late breaking news, Bobby Franklin has introduced a bill to outlaw possession of "breasts and other mammarys". Penalties proposed vary according to cup size, with life imprisonment and amputation for "extremist DD+ cups". Asked if he approved of misogyny, Franklin insisted he had never touched her, adding that he "definitely wasn't the father and I'm prepared to take a paternity test" to prove it. Franklin angrily denied he was a militant gay activist, declaring he took "support and uplift" from the Good Book and anyway he liked "men to be real men". Edited to add scalloped edging and lace inserts [:D]
