chat has been down for aeons because of some update that is the responsibility of whoever's in charge of webbernetz stuff at CM. are you getting the message about installing some kind of flash thingie from darkgrove whateverthehell? yeah, we're all getting that.
if you want to yack in Passion_for_Submission, SimonD made an alternate on mIRC called #Passion.
it's on the bondage.com server, which you can reach either through bondage.com or through a stand-alone mIRC client.
i can't really explain this stuff snazzily enough, but if you're on Fetlife, there are instructions there.
or i could PM them to you?

Simon and I talked about it, and it is only a temporary solution because neither he nor this site want the chatters to be inconvenienced. To get there, go to the server irc.bondage.com on irc and you will see the #passions channel there. If you do not have mirc, you can google irc directory, and hit the bondage.com server as a link. There is no need to go anywhere for suggestions, and the site is well aware of Simon's emergency measures, as I am proud to actually call Simon a friend, and personally applaud his efforts to try to keep the chatters a place to go. He has worked VERY hard to get his channel where it's at with the regular members that are loyal to that channel, and has shown real ingenuity to help those members. We ARE trying to get things resolved as quickly as possible, but that message is misleading and is the standard one that the flash mechanism posts. There is a lot more to it than what that one line says, and I truly apologize for ANY inconvenience on the part of Collarme members. All we can hope for is the continued patience of YOU, the collarme members.

The irc chatrooms are back up, you can access them through the CHATROOM button on the collarme side.
