Or, they could use something they have at secure facilities.

Tire breakers that flip up. And, these days, they have ones in front of the security checkpoints that flip up to stop a vehicle if the vehicle approaches at greater than 10mph above the posted speed.

I wouldn't put it past our nanny state to start using those for traffic control.

Oh giggle giggle giggle - you all think it was funny.

But I had to spend 3 weeks in intensive care and my insurance refused to pay out on a new car. OK, so I learned my lesson and I won't speed in the US again but it was so not amusing for me.

We have our share of idiots talking on their cell phones (at least some of them pull over to the shoulder and ramble away).

TX has the no phone in school zone law these days.

Hopefully the states will outlaw texting while driving.

Here in TX, there is a bill being on the floor to stop sexting. Too many people taking it for real and kids hurting or killing themselves because of it and destroying their self esteem.

None, you see why I refuse to get a cellphone. I don't drive, text and anything else...

Haha, I know, there are many detractors to living out here. However there are positives. Wyoming opened a new prison last year, in a time when other states are doing nothing but shutting them down. The state government is awash in money from oil and mineral resources, but is actually looking ahead at other sources of income. They're smart enough to know that oil isn't going to last forever. For imstance, there are miles of wind turbines out here. Wyoming isn't Michigan, where the death of the auto industry has led to the death of the whole state.

Let's see...no state income tax...20 year retirement with the state...
