Status: offline 		I mean the coup was a lot less messy than Khomeini's. In that respect, he left power quietly. "A few chaotic days" is not quite the six months of bickering and strikes followed by armed streetfights between the royalists and the revolutionaries you had in '78 and '79, is it?

coz they let him stay at his own home not to force him to leave or even kill him.

ashjor, I'm aware of that.  But for us Americans, they seem similar because our culture is so different from both.  There is a lot of similarity - some phrases are similar in Farsi and Arabic, and they are both Muslims although of different kinds.
