SSM & YSG - Yup 19 credits = 6 classes and yes school is my job

Came4U - public transportation is out of the question - I drive 56 miles one way for school.

Got the results from my first math test today. Scored an A with two wrong (yay!). One was a 'rule' I remembered backwards and the other one the teacher said most people get it wrong.

Tonight I'm just taking it easy and doing nothing! Tomorrow is homework all day and if I don't finish it I will have to work around the Packer game on sunday to get it done. It could take all that long too.

19 credits? Wow! Where I go, they won't let you take more than 18 credits at a time so you don't go nuts (though I'm only taking 3-6 at a time, what with working full time and commuting 10-15 hrs a week). Good luck!

i've taken all my classes online, which really helped alot with being a single mom. if you can take classes online, do so! it cuts back on travel time and you can take exams in your jammies!

I've thought about taking an online class or two, but I've heard they're actually a lot more work than a regular class. Is that true?

19 credits hours is a lot! But it can be done. I was stupid enough to take 23 one quarter. I did it so my senior year I would cruise on 12 credit hour per quarter. That was worth it!

I did not go to college until I was 30 so I do understand the working full time and going to college thing. All I can say is stick with it. It will be worth it. Yes it will really suck staying home and studying and doing homework on Friday and Saturday nights when your friends are out having fun. But its a small price to pay for the rewards to come.

I was able to take 24  credit hours one summer- by attending 2 colleges.  This allowed me to breeze thru 4 years in 3 years.

By then I was in the rhythm of school- and the classes were not technical, a few of them were labs- which were easy.
