FR

Camden has suffered from having some of the most corrupt politicians in history as mayor since the riots of 1970.  Most cities that had "race riots" (ie. Detroit, Los Angeles. Philadelphia) had them in the mid 1960's and were in the process of recovery by 1970, Camden was late to that game, then kept electing people that turned out to be crooks.

These days Camden and Atlantic City are quite similar in that they are relatively decent by the water, and the further inland you go the worse it gets.   I live less than 15 miles east south-east of Camden,  and I get to see this crap up close all the time.

Civilly,
Some Knucklehead in NJ

Steven, lawyers make more for being in courtrooms and offices and there's an overabundance of lawyers.
When does the law of supply and demand kick in there?
As for Cops and Firefighters I don't know which one is the most dangerous.
Also, the cost of living in N.J. is sky high. You need to make a good week's pay just to be able to afford to live there.
I think that if you're in a very dangerous profession you should be well compensated. I think those guys who put out oil well fires make over $200k. And they have to be able to deploy anywhere in the world with a few hours notice.
