asking "how" doesn't really diminish someone's quality of "Dominance." some men are so afraid of asking for information that they make a bajillion mistakes. it's arguable that a person who CAN ask for advice is a stronger person than someone who sits and thinks "i'm so awesome i shouldn't have to ask."
like others have said, you build the relationship and the rules of interaction through the process of getting to know each other. if you dream up a lot of protocol without a relationship to apply it to, you might wind up with someone with limitations that can't fulfill them. or you may simply find that LIFE itself doesn't allow for the rules you dream up.
you "train" your slave to your needs through day to day interaction. it really isn't any different from regular relationships -- vanilla girlfriends learn that their boyfriends want two sugars in their coffee, so they make coffee that way. slaves do the same thing.
