Here he uses his talents to tell the story of "Life Through Time"
The slide show is combined with a time line which allows you to
switch back and forth.  I have no idea if the science is accurate in
all respects, but some of the photos are simply breathtaking.

Thank you for your post sunshinemiss, I hope this information helps.

This was also given as a TED lecture in 2005, the content is 95%+
the same.  If you follow this link you can see for yourself: TED "Life Through Time"

He narrates this one instead of the slides having subtitles.  When you are on that
link page if you go to the upper right hand column you will see "Open interactive
link".  This will give you the complete text of the presentation.  You can do a copy/paste
once it opens and have it as a word doc.

Directly under the window where the presentation appears is a selection of
buttons.  The one I would suggest you look for is the "DOWNLOAD" button.
You can then choose to download it as is, or as a high-res MP4 movie.  The
high-res movies generally run about 225MB.  The resolution is high enough to
convert to a DVD and show on a reasonable side screen.

With the DVD and the text printout you should have what you desire.  If you have
