ORIGINAL: MasterG2kTR Ok...so let me see if I got this right.....the border patrol can catch a canadian woman with a small contraband toy which could have easily been missed or overlooked, posing at best an extremely minor threat. Yet somehow they manage to miss thousands of illegal immigrants, various drug smugglers and potential terrorists. Have I missed anything? nope, you got that right...I just looked into it to find out more and realised that it was already in the news back home 3 years ago with plans to scrap their existence http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/aug/08/germany.foodanddrink with folks stating :"Critics have also said that mixing toys and food is not helpful when trying to teach children the value of good nutrition." Now...where would I teach children of the value of good food nutrition when I would give them chocolate eggs??? chocolate and good food nutrition shouldn't be in the same sentence And I disagree regarding mixing toys and food, I would agree with it if that huge plastic egg wouldn't be in between it, but as this is in between and as some kids have difficulties to even open it, I don't agree to see this as a hazard...would love to see any research from them about accidents in that respect
