A minor act, but it gives hope.

So glad the pilot was 'human.'

Gosh thats awesome....I love it when folks are able to step out of the "just following rules and regulations approach" and dare to take such actions...having had to fly to my grandma with short notice myself when she was about to die I know how you feel when you are unsure if you are going to make it and how glad I was that I managed to see and hear her a last time before she died the night after that visit....my brother got there too late the next day...so I am very glad for him that he got to see his grandson before he passed away due to such tragic circumstances...thanks to that pilot and others who helped to make sure that this pilot knew about the importance for that person to get that flight.

I avoid the news because there is so much that is negative. This is an amazing story, although the reason for the child's dying is horrible. Thank God there are still humane people in this world.

Thank you for sharing this, GT.  It is so good to see somebody have this type of kindness.

......................................................I don't know quite what to say. Good news on top of bad ?

How about we take up a collection for jet fuel to burn this Madrid fella. Alive.

I stop now. Must stop now. I won't even go into what I would do, but it would start with bailing the guy out. I just looked at the word bailing and thought of boiling. Nope too good. Kill a kid ?
