I would have no problem causing much physical pain to this individual. And I'm a Defensive Tactics instructor, I know all the good Pressure Points.

Status: offline 		Now, I'm thinking of something. A compromise. Put them in prison for their terms, sure. BUT, make their families pay for the upkeep. As opposed to myself and other law abiding citizens having our taxes used to give them medical care and education while we don't have those benefits. IF their families can't pay, then have the prisoners executed. See? Compromise is a good thing. :)

one of the london guidelines regarding assessing clients in my work assumes that someone who abuses animals might have been a victim of abuse him/herself...now...I don't know if thats the case and needless to say it doesn't justify it either but it was interesting to read that there "might" be a link when I printed out those 400 pages...

Status: offline 		If it was up to me I'd certainly let those put in prison for selling themselves for sex out of jail. That shouldn't be a crime. I'd let quite a few other people out too if they were not rapists and murders and it was panty anty stuff they got jailed for like those stings they set up to trick you into buying drugs from an undercover and stuff. There's some people that spend years on end  in prison for petty stuff like that,

Status: offline 		I disagree My dad* real onen ot ageplay*He's a good man, a family man a provider a care taker, he just happens to hate cats,thinks they're all basically vermin that should be exterminated because they kill and eat all the local birds, and kill all the gecko's that are benifitial to his garden.  , they climb all over the car an just basically are a pest getting into your car an shitting an pissing if you forgot and left a window down, have no respect refuse to keep to their yard an theirs only,  if left to patrol the neighborhood, My mom was severly attacked by a couple of cats of a neighbors when she went to baby sit the lil boy she was asked to baby sit,  he now and then says the only good cat is a dead cat, and his dad thought so too. Now he hates them but he wouldn't hurt them,  so maybe that's the difference. You can hate a critter species all ya like, but that don't say nothing about you unless you're willing to hurt them in your hatred of them.

Precisely. I absolutely abhor dogs. But at the same time, I wouldn't actively hurt one. Self defense excluded, of course. But, common sense and sensibility prevails. They leave me alone, I leave them alone, and we just move on with our lives and worry about other things which are more important.

Status: offline 		Now, with this post, BK has hit upon a marvelous idea. Make the convicted criminals families pay for their support and such while incarcerated. If the families can't or won't pay, then we simply execute the convicted individual. Do the math people. It takes tens of thousands of dollars to keep one inmate in prison for a year. A .45 caliber bullet costs less than a dollar. The "pay or die" idea also serves well as a deterrent. This idea should be implemented for murder, attempted murder, child abuse, and animal abuse/cruelty.


Yes, I know I omitted a horrible crime and that being sexual assault. My reason for doing so is simple. Given this sick bastard who admitted to torturing the cat as well as the Arizona shooter, there is irrefutable evidence of the crime. Using that evidence, the "pay or die" method above fits in well. With sexual assault, it's a lot harder to prove a crime was committed, even with DNA evidence. A woman is capable of accusing an innocent man with sexual assault when one never occured. if the evidence is irrefutable in a charge of sexual assault, then by all means, "pay or die".

just because actions which affected kids are sadly often given too low sentences does not mean that I have to compare this cruelty with that fact.

They are both helpless and innocent and both deserve appropriate punishment as a result, therefore I would be more than happy if both instances see longer terms in prison.

and the parents of a 7 year old girl who starved to death in Germany in 2005 received life-long sentences...

there are always cases where people did not necessarily receive the sentence they should have gotten, however I don't compare it with other cases as for me - as previously mentioned - both should be punished severely and thankfully in some cases they get the appropriate sentence.

And I am just glad that someone realised that there was a cat drowning as I imagine that this was rather a slim chance to happen...

I hope that the prisoners treat him as bad as they treat the criminals who are in there due to having harmed kids and/or women...because when I wrote reports and interviews from the prison back home about horrendous abuse some of them had to endure within that prison a police officer explained to me that within the prison population the ones who harmed children and women would be on the lowest rank inside there...so I hope that the ones who abuse animals are on that lowest level as well, because then he will have a "hell of a ride" in there....


A BB gun is an Air rifle, BB's are usually small lead or plastic pellets Phoenix.

I actually thought this was worse than it was (If that's possible) although the act is a particularly gutless one and im glad to see that the Cat has been given a loving home.

This guy however needs Psych testing to make sure he isn't a sociopath as this disgusting act in itself would be hard to perpetrate by a normal human being.

Victimising small helpless animals is a sure fire sign of a few loose screws.

The sad and scary thing is we are seeing more and more of these disgusting acts in society today and its a warning of things to come and the general lack of respect for other living beings.

Bring back public floggings, caning and more physical forms of punishment for these low lives.

Maybe 8 hours of lessons a day for 5 years would be appropriate.

Status: offline 		NO 5 years is not enough time for such a heinous act upon an innocent animal.  Next it will be a child.  I like the Bible's idea........an eye for an eye.  Do to the offender the same act(s) he did to his victim (animal OR human).  Just don't pull him out of the water till after he drowns.
