quote:
The United States is a "Republic", not a "Democracy". The British are "Subjects" of the Crown. Americans are not "SUBJECTS", we are "FREE and SOVEREIGN". A "Free person" has a different view that a "Subject person". It is not up to me to justify why I need to do anything, it is up to the government to show a compelling need why it needs to infringe on my rights or anyone else's. More nonsense regarding Britain. I am unsure why some Americans think that the term "British Subject" means we are subjected to anything. Guess what, we dont have to justify why we do anything either, just like Americans. RealOne will be off on a rant about some long since abolished law, while having no real concept of reality. Pa gets all his free thinking from Alex, or worse still, from RealOne. Dont kid yourselves, you guys have no more freedom than us, just different laws to abide by. As for being free thinkers because you are not subjects, thanks for the belly laugh.
