I'm no Palin fan, especially after her botched speech at my husbands deployment ceremony, but I lived in Alaska for three years and I know a thing or two about how that state works. Slow is a way of life in Alaska. Everything up there is about 10 years behind the times. Customer service is slow, people drive slow, winter passes slowly, and heck, for a while, we even had a "slow," governor! ;) The fact is, it is no huge shocker that they are taking forever to release the e-mails.. because they take forever to do anything!

Many states no longer routinely provide copies of that when a birth certificate is requested. The short form is official and has been released. It is valid for all purposes and proves both factually and legally that Obama was born in Hawaii.
