My mother and i used to make mince meat pies and mince meat cookies.  We used the condensed stuff that comes from a box.

Octopus

The fun thing about octopus is that when you cook it the suckers work again.  So you cut it into pieces and maybe put it in a salad.  Then stick a few to the plates and watch your guests try to pick them up [:D]
