The thing that tickles me.. is how they expect to be taken seriously, do a search for "conservative brains" and there are 73 articles with this story, some red some blue, , yet while UCH in london has been a very well respected hospital for a long time, I cannot in any way shape or form accept this as anything but dumbassery of the first order. 92 people to make a statement as explosive(stoopid)as this,  is fucking ridiculous. I think this is the dumbest study ever, and thats sayin something.

Thanks, both for the articles, and for understanding that such science should not be considered determinative, and is subject to biased interpretation.

Science in support of ideology is generally bad science.

I recently read a similar article, only, it wasn’t about “left” and “right”, but linked the difference to being social; those who are more social have a bigger area associated with fear.

The article said they had not determined if it was cause or effect, though speculated that perhaps the more people a person is around, the more they need to be on guard for possible dangers.

Curious the same study now shows up in politics… maybe not.

No, the absence of the useful part of the ceebral cortex, higher reasoning centers and whatever controls common sense is absent creating a vacuum. Nature abhors a vacuum and thus fills it with something else, ANYTHING else. I don't think it's fear centers though.
