Status: offline 		Official reports here are 10". But we dug out of 2 1/2' drifts this morning. And my plow guy did us twice and that's the first time in almost 18 years he felt that was necessary.

Status: offline 		Around 1ft. with drifts twice that size. Winds were clocked at 60 mph at the height of the storm. Trees down all over and lots of roads closed. I didn't lose electiricity, though, which was a bonus. I'm off work this week and didn't have anywhere to be today so it was nice to just enjoy a mug of coffee while watching the neighbor's dogs playing in the drifts.

I love it.

I'm actually annoyed to hear on the news tonight that by next weekend we'll be around 40 degrees with rain.

Status: offline 		We got about 16" here, with massive drifts. Spent a bit of time this Am showing my neighbors daughter showing her how to make snowballs. Then: nothing but lazy. I love these days,

Status: offline 		If there is enough to make a snow angel, go do it. I love snow, but I hate the ignorance and incompetence it brings out in so many of the people I must share it with.

Didn't get the freezing rain and sleet either.
Had real frost on the ground yesterday.

Status: offline 		Anyone who is living in the UK knows how utterly miserbale it has been. About four inches of the soft flaky stuff fell whilst I was in Tesco shopping a week before Christmas. There was no salt, no grit put on my little side road. Heathrow came to a complete standstill. The infrastructure collapsed.
Why?
Incompetence and lack of planning.
