LOL. Ok- so far I have been matched with a local guy who wants nothing to do with me. As well as straight woman and straight men. ...and my best chances are in South America. LOL. Gotta love it.

I was going to be a paid member in Alt.com if they didn't claim that they found three women living in my vicinity. One of them was in Hawaii, one was in England, the other was in Australia.

Alt used to be the only game in town. I belonged and met some good people there, including a woman who was my sub for a few months. Then they decided to quit worrying about serving people and instead focused on squeezing money from members. They added the capability of adding wingdings to your messages for a fee. They reduced the number of contacts you could make unless you paid another fee. They gave you a better placement in searches for a fee. Of course, when you act like you're a monopoly when you aren't, the exodus is predictable. Last I heard, they had a guarantee - if you didn't get laid within three months, they would extend your membership. Not only did this equate kink with fucking, but it ensured that the site would be limited to HNGs and scammers. /Lifts glass to toast the memory of Alt, may we someday remember only the greatness that it used to be and forget the craphole it is now/

I signed up maybe 8 or 9 years ago, not a paid membership as I just wanted to try it out, within a day or 2 I was buried in messages of guys who make your usual horny CM guys ("Here's a list with things you have to do to me, let's say it's for your pleasure and pretend to force me, and I'll come over in 10 minutes and if you don't agree you're a fake") look like your average fairy tale prince... Yikes

hahah I remember joining alt.com when I was brand spanking new and shiney, I was just barely 18, and I was inuendated with emails and emails from guys who wanted a piece of the new meat action. I left, because at that time I wasn't looking for kinky interactions, just a place to meet people talk maybe hook up now an then, but then when I realized I was into kink, I went back, and it was the same old same old. Mostly just men looking for quick fucks, with no substance.

I was a paid member of alt several years ago and met a couple of very nice people. I looked back recently and it was truly pitiful.

What site are you on? I ask because on one particular site I can see a lot of merit in the match percentages and the algorithm. I am in the midst of a great conversation with one of my matches. If nothing else, this gives me hope that there are compatible, sane people out there.

I really like OKC, if you answer enough different questions you can get all sorts of matching info, plus I like the personality ratings. You can pay and get an upgraded account, although I don't know if it's worth it.

I agree on the personality tests- the members designed the questions- and if it is too personal one can skip the item.
