I have heard of this, but haven't actually seen one.

Does anyone know how I can make a St. Andrew's Cross, for a big heavy slave and after I am finished with the scene, remove the cross without any damage to the walls?
* NOTE This MUST be very sturdy

I have a number of friends who have built exactly what you are describing.  Makes the thing easy for travel, able to be transported easily from location to location.  If you don't know anyone who has already built one, you may find a design for one here http://www.amazon.com/review/R1K4IRI30A890E

In LadyPact primary picture it looks as though the device is approx 80" tall. So if you can imagine two horizontal pieces going from where she is standing to the planter in the background and then a vertical brace to the center of the cross, facilitating an inclination of about 12 degress, then the device could be self supporting and the heavier the person the more stable the device becomes. Therefore no need to be near the wall. Using hinges, the cross could be folded and not much heavier than in the picture

If the wall cannot be damaged, then you can't attach it to the wall. It has to be built to be self supporting. Because anything you put through a wall into a stud will leave a hole when removed.

Greetings Keli....

I thought I recalled a site with do-it-yourself dungeon equipment. I found it again.

http://www.saroftreve.com/workshop/cross.shtml

I have used the main site for leather working tools and hardware as well as ideas. Sartan has been around a long time and although I haven't purchased anything from him in a couple of years (my not doing much leatherwork) I recommend him as a source as highly as possible.

Be well....

Malkinius

Keli, I have sent some pics of My mobile cross and a handy subby seat that locks into it. Hope it helps further with design ideas!

PS The person on the seat is me in my subby alter ego - didn't want to send You unsolicited pics of naked male subs LOL - at least i have my clothes on [;)]

Maam Jay aka violet[A]

PPS It's the one behind Me in the pic here but I have sent close ups of the construction. It's built in Australian hardwood (jarrah) and is as solid as the proverbial rock!
