A week and a bit pass I got bored.  For a laugh and a giggle, I whistled up a spoof profile sending up gold-digging, fake dommes.

I did not anticipate the stampede of memos.  Virtually all from male subs.  Most of them saying thanks for the laugh.

What surprised me is the sheer number of male subs responding as though the profile was genuine.

The notion of this being someone else's idea of being funny in return occured to me as well.  Except that the replies concerned were, well too unintelligent for that, crudely written, badly spelt, etc.

My point being?  Dunno, not sure if I have one.

Apart from that there seems to be some pretty unthinking subs around.

I read your profile.  It's pretty obvious it's not serious.

I assume that your applicants simply didn't bother to read, but sent a cut and paste to every Domme.

I agree with what the others said...but will add a bit more.  Maybe some who wrote you loved your sense of humor.  Yeah...and others who wrote might have wanted to offer the only thing they plan to make an investment with...their money, lol.

Loved reading it by the way.

Yeah, most of the people who wrote in did so to say they found it funny.

The "serious subs" were a minority.

Good to know folks had a laugh.

I have to agree. While I'm sure a few of the serious ones were cut and paste, almost every serious flirtatious message I've ever recieved on here said something along the lines of "thank god, a dom who doesn't take himself too seriously." Single dominants, apparently of whichever gender, with a sense of their own absurdity are a rare and precious thing. You'll need a stick just to hold them off.
