Today, my boyfriend posted this video to my facebook wall. I am BEYOND concerned that if he makes this(because I DAMN SURE am not participating in this madness), he will most certainly kick the bucket. Figured I should pass along this monstrosity called "FOOD"

In the midst of watching it now. So far, very fattening but it looks like all the booze would burn off during the cooking. So as long as it was a once a year indulgence and he split it with friends... I don't see the cause for concern. Granted, it wouldn't hurt to up his work-out for a few weeks and trim out sweets for awhile. I truly doubt he would die, just maybe gain an extra 5-10 pounds. But as long he didn't continue eating this way, it would burn off once he returned to his normal diet and work-out routine.

Edited to add: Yeah just finished it. Looks like the only things that would retain the booze would be the bailey's in cream and the jack syrup. My take is they are making this sound more extreme than it is.

Yea, the hash brown balls did look good. I may have to try that. Cream cheese dumplings looked like they might have promise also.

Oh and being non kosher, I volunteer to take all the bacon and ham off your hands.

Although i'm not in general a drinker, i'd have to say drunken cleaning is one of the worst punishment-lessons i've experienced---this would certainly deter me from making this.  Or, at least, keep me from adding the JD syrup.

Obivously (or at least to me) college students or just began their 20's. I once lived with a guy, we had 2 male roommates and Sundays were the "communal" breakfast. Of course I got stuck cooking all of it then cleaning it up. It consisted of 4 loaves of bread for toast, 3 lbs of bacon, 4 dozen eggs, pancakes by the dozen, 2-3 lbs of sausage all downed with beer. I hardly ate, it made me sick to my stomach just having to keep it coming. Yeah, I was young, dumb and stupid back then. Usually involved anywhere between 7 and 12 people. Oooo for the good old days, NOT!!.
