Living in Las Vegas for over two years now, it hit me just how much I miss the BDSM community back in LA. Particularly, the Lair de Sade. I love that dungeon the best! I've only been to a few others but seriously, the Lair's atmosphere is more of a socializing one and everyone was always so respectful. I'm seriously thinking about going back to LA for one of these weekends just once more for the Lair. Just thinking about it makes me smile! [:D]

The longer you leave a community, the less chance you might have of finding it again. I was a strong, participating member of the San Francisco bdsm community for years, and then I left to do a phd in Michigan. When I came back to San Francisco, it was practically impossible to get integrated back into the community. It was like it changed completely. Now I live back in Michigan, and one day I'll probably join the community here. Gave up on San Francisco for good.
