I recently watched a documentary on the year in the life of a leopard, from birth to a year. It was heartwarming and beautiful and I had no idea that these big cats had so many predators.

Status: offline 		Allthatjaz, the difference in leopards and jaguars is that a they live on dfifferent continents and look almost identical but their markings are different, Jaguars have big assed "rosettes" with coloured centers and Leopards have smaller rosettes /spots and are not as heavily built. At least from my memory.
I have had a thing for black jags for a long time.

Status: offline 		Apparently, you can't tell a tiger and a lion apart from their skeletons.  Odd.

So cute, these cubs.  Why can't human babies be cute, too?  They're always ugly.  My nephew looked like a cross between Bruce Willis and a large coconut when he was born.

Status: offline 		I have seen cute human babies.. RARE..but it does happen.

I think the parenting thing is triggered more by scent than appearance.. at least, I read that somewhere.  I wouldnt know, not being a breeder.. but I DO know that while an infant my be visually unappealing, the scent of a freshly washed baby is appealing to me.
