Yup, that's the idea. Think of an economic risk/reward graph. There will be a point of equalibrium were the risk and reward are in balance. Slide down the graph and your at the "I think I can endure what's required to get this sassy little cocktail dress", move up the graph and you're at "God, I LOVE those pumps, but..." (shakes head and shudders).



What if the submissive is like me and hates to clothes shop? Would you be willing to do this at say Best Buy or Costco? Maybe Office Depot? I can spend a lot at those kind of stores.

i do understand how some submissives couldn't handle the "being set up for failure" thing, but i myself am very very playful and enjoy these sorts of "funishment" games. True punishment to me, after all, is being given *that look* and knowing that i've failed/upset/disappointed/angered Him. But this here is just full of opportunity to be my cheeky happy playful self, and please Him by being so.

A small adjustment to the rules would be required in my case, however-- i am so terribley, frustratingly, hopelessly indecisive-- there would need to be some sort of time limit on my decision-making before incurring an extra spank (or three! ). Oh, but THEN there would be the element of me trying to hide the fact that i'm trying to decide on something, meanwhile He bloody-well knows exactly what's going on, then comes up behind me, "Don't think I don't know you've been trying to decide on that necklace for the last 10 mins. Three spanks for going over the time limit, plus an extra minute with the clamps-from-hell for trying to be sneaky."

Excuse me...

*runs to the bathroom with a box of tissues*




Meanwhile, seriously, i LOVE this idea. And it sure would be awesome if LP's clip had to "take one for the team" and play this game so we can all learn whether it works or not. Strictly for scientific purposes, of course... testing a new game...

OK I think your use of the word "punishment" was what set some things off here.

BUT....yeah as this game?  I'd totally go for it.  I can just see myself with the list of what it'll really cost me to buy those Jimmy Choo's - and not in dollars.

Status: offline 		Punishment was just fine..Most of us understood well what you meant based on the whole of your statement and since funishment isn't in the dictionary quite yet and I don't cater to the urban dictionary as a suitable replacement..(maybe one day). I suppose we'll have to use our noggins a bit more.

lol when i first read "Dom Depot" my mind took me to an entirely different shopping possibility.... hahaha but i think Dom Depot must actually be the US equivalent to Australia's Bunnings?? (ie super-sized hardware store with everything your home and/or garden could ever want?)


What about Dusk (beautiful girly candle/interior decorative store that always smells amazing)?? lol any candles bought could also be incorporated into the later payment/punishment/funishment.... hahaha what an interesting concept, being relaxed by the aromatherapy of the candles, then not-so-relaxed by the hot wax being dripped onto certain exposed bits of flesh.....

i love the garage sale idea!!!! How fun and budget-conscious!!
