foryoutoteach -> new sub looking for online Dom mentor (11/3/2010 6:32:56 PM)

Hello there, if I am doing this wrong, I hope someone lets me know!

I am rather new to D/s ways... I am looking for an experienced, kind but firm Male Dom, preferrable older than 40, for online mentoring, and possibly IRL in the future. A short background on me...I have always had a submissive heart, and a strong desire to please and to serve.... but for some reason married a very passive man... I am now recently separated and I very much want to learn how to be a good submissive so when the time comes to enter a D/s relationship I will be pleasing to my new Master. I live in the eastern TN area. I do have a profile up under the name "teachmeplease" but for some reason it would not let me post here, so I registered again. Thank you for reading this..

You are going to be innundated with an awful lot of emails the first few weeks of being here.
Please use very good judgement in your interactions on the other side. There are many that
will slap a title on themselves in order to get your attention.
This forum is a great way to learn and interact with others...from all dynamics.
It also has selected threads that may interest you, and a wonderful search
feature in the upper right hand corner if there is something you would like to read about.
Best of luck to you!

Hi there!

I couldn't pull up your profile under either username.  Shame - you sound like you'd be fun to get to know.

Edited to add:  The teachmeplease profile is now visible!

I forgot to mention, I am 43. 5'9" 142 pounds. Dark brown hair, browish-hazel eyes, two small, tasteful tattoos, and I am a terrible cook. lol

Thank you for your replies. I do intend to be very careful, this has been a decision I have taken seriously, I'm looking forward to learning and growing.

I will make a new profile under this name. Thank you Sir for letting me know it was not available.

[sm=welcomewave.gif] to CM and the boards.  Poise and Steven have given you advice.  Even in being careful, there are those out there who will try to fool you and may succeed.  Learn as much about who you meet, start with friendship, see where it goes from there.  If you're near a major city, google munches for your area.  This is also a great way to make friends and possibly connections with people who live it every day.

Be wary of anyone who tries to tell you to submit to him because he says he's a Dom.  You do not have to answer to anyone until you've met your one.  Be patient, this isn't something that happens overnight.  Good luck in your search, have fun and play safe.

This is being offered by someone who has been there, done that and wore the t-shirt to shreds.  It's easy to fall for a smooth talker who will take advantage of the fact that you are new.  Go with your gut feeling, it's always your best friend.  If it doesn't feel right, then there is most likely a reason for you feeling that.

This is a great place to learn. As suggested use the search function. You will be amazed at the info you can find.

Be careful when dealing with your messages over the next week or two. Start of just making friends and see where it goes. Remember not everyone deserves the titles Dom, Sir and Master. Just because they call themselves it doesn't mean you have too.

Good luck [:D]

Welcome, lots of people are giving you advice, what more do you want, what more could you want? Well lots of things probably, like a stainless steel potato ricer, for instance, just for instance, but you ain't gonna get that here!
