Ok-  I cant unscrew the 2 screw in my license plate. There is a plastic lens on it.

I turn it counter clock wise for 30 minutes and nothing.  So I try holding the back of it- I tried going forward- then backwards.   No luck.

I need to place my renewal sticker on it.... preferably to take it off-  with out breaking it- so I can clean the plate.

Help.

If you back the car into a wall repeatedly, the plate will eventually come off and you can clean it and apply the new sticker.

Sounds like you've stripped the screws.....go to Dom Depot and get something to cut into them and get them out......

Then take the plastic cover off and leave it off.......just an idea.....

Follow Murphy's Law for mechanics: Force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

License schmicense. If there ain't no holes in the bed you can probably sell it here in Ohio for more than the truck is worth. That is the truck right ?

I assume it's the back plate, where I come from you just mount a couple of machine guns down there and run a string up in the cab, that's what the pedal next to the clutch is for around here. The lights flash, you press the pedal. This technique works best if the truck is equipped with a large V8 engine, preferably a bigblock.

There are plenty of ways to deal with this problem on a truck, but if it's that shitcan just throw it on the curb and pick up another one. We have deep discounts for ones without titles round here. You can save alot of money doing your own paperwork.

Welcome back T, I missed you!

I sold the truck for parts..  so this was the car- back plate.    My buddy told me to buy new screws- which I did not.  Oh well.  I am good for another year.

In Ohio you can get two year plates I hear. Not real popular though, with these roads alot of cars go to the crusher, wheels falling off and engines falling out, things like that. Those engines falling out are a problem, you lose the steering. It happened to me twice ! No more blue Buicks for me unless they are very old, you remember, the ones made out of real metal.

Yup, I really did like that Park Avenue, but engine incontinence is just too much. And it only pisses you off more knowing that it runs great.

If you can't figure out how to remove a stripped screw, and have to have a woman do it for you, you really need to lose the Hunk moniker...Just sayin'

It took 2 of them.   Bill is a former prison guard/army, and worked with auto parts..

I have no grip in my hands-  due to CPS and and a never decompression surgery.

I wish I could remove the "boy" portion of my name.
