Is it wrong to hypnotize slaves to control their minds and make them crave you more or be more obedient? Thoughts?? Opinions??

Ait -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/18/2010 5:46:06 PM)

I don't think it's wrong but I do think it's a little silly. Contrary to popular belief, most subs/slaves are not quite *that* suggestible. Especially if they have a limited interest in you beforehand. Now granted, with a lot of time and work there might be a substantial effect, but if you're working with someone over a longer period of time then they know what's going on and I hope they would consent. Consent being the key to whether it's ethical.

If tribute is involved like your profile implies, then hell yes, it's unethical and likely illegal.

OsideGirl -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/18/2010 6:04:00 PM)

Hypnosis is best left to professionals. One blind brush up against something hidden and you've opened up a can worms that you're not qualified to get out of.

femasoslave -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/18/2010 6:19:31 PM)

sub/slaves cannot crave their Dom/Masters anymore than what they already do. Is it wrong?, I will agree with the others who have posted, consent is always the key but gee......to make a sub/slave crave you more, thats just wrong in my opinion, if it can be done then wouldnt the Dom know it was only because of hypnotism that they were wanted more?
Ands to be more obedient....., Hmmm.....when one is a slave, they ARE obedient to the best of their ability.

Because of this post I googled hypnotism and the facts are interesting......10 to 15 per cent experience all or most hypnotic suggestions, 10 to 15 per cent find it difficult to experience any hypnotic suggestions and the rest can experience some but not other suggestions.

sexyred1 -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/18/2010 6:34:55 PM)

How to make a sub crave you more? Can the hypnosis idea.

Try making your partner respect you, love you, adore you, like you, enjoy your time together, and make her so excited to be with you that she craves you with every fiber of her being. Be a stand up guy, be funny, be reliable and be great in bed.

That can actually happen in real life..even without hypnosis.

LadyRian -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/18/2010 6:56:54 PM)

Hypnosis is an interesting concept, but ethics are exceptionally important. I would never even attempt such a thing on a sub who - A: Didn't specifically ask me to do it. B-Use it on an unknowing sub for any reason.  I've known some HypnoDom/mes, studied some of the techniques.  These people have been into it for a long time, and mainly use something I believe is akin to actual hypnosis to enhance their sub's pleasure, to sort of deepen their enjoyment of the experience, not to cause them to crave their Dom/me, or to be more obedient.

Whoa. Why would being a good, funny, reliable, great-in-bed guy make someone crave him more? Shouldn't he just brew a lust potion or tie up a voodoo doll or something? What's this kooky idea you have about respect and love and excitement having anything to do with wanting someone?!

Against their will? Yes of course. With their consent? No.

Though you realize that just about every person I've heard talk about hyponsis with any degree of intellience has firmly asserted that the person has to actually WANT it to make it happen.

Hypnosis seems a really interesting concept to me, being you can't be hypnotized without choice, which I find very similar with submission. The idea of having hypnosis used on me to increase my degradation and the depths of my submission really does certainly appeal to me, of course with the right Owner and Partner.

'Neurological imaging techniques provide no evidence of a neurological pattern that can be equated with a "hypnotic trance"'

I don't think hypnosis is different from any other state of concentration, nor do I believe that subjects can really be controlled against their will.

I have to agree with Dark Steven.  Sounds as if you are trying to figure out a way to get those tributes you want coming in bigger and faster.   So yes, it is unethical and wrong to use hypnosis to increase those tributes and is most likely very illegal.

Tell you what.   An arrogant 22 year old who brags about how Dominant he is while begging for tribute sounds desperate, and not much like a Dominant.

My 2 cents worth.

Hmm... Having never seen your skills as a hypnotist I'm going to have to assume that you're as much of an expert as you imply. In which case you'll be very, very, well aware that only a total jackass would believe that you can actually use hypnosis to control someone's mind on an on-going basis without them consenting to it.

I know you don't think that it's possible to do this with reluctant subjects, because, as an expert, you'd laugh at anyone who said that could be done.

There's been another thread recently on the topic of targetting vulnerable people and making them dependent on you, and I think that there was a pretty clear consensus that that is the sort of thing only a nasty asshat would do.

You're young and buff, and if you have the charisma you claim to have (and I'm not doubting it for a second) then I wonder if you wont get more satisfaction out of dominating smart, independent people?

They can't. I've been getting hypnotherapy for a while, so I've been told quite a lot about it.

It lowers inhibitions, but if you wouldn't be even somewhat willing to do something in a normal situation, hypnotism wouldn't make you do it either. Part of the fact of hypnotism is the fact that it's more just a way of getting your subconscious to hold firmer beliefs in some things and let other beliefs go - you actually do a form of self-hypnotism every time you are being taught something, writing the information into your mind and the new information may or may not affect your decision making due to what you learned.

Thus if you're not willing, it can't really be done anyway. So the guy can try, but I doubt he'd get anywhere if the slave he was trying to hypnotize didn't want to do it in the first place. Limits stay limits, whether in or out of hypnotism.

nephandi -> RE: Is it wrong.. (10/19/2010 1:31:20 AM)

Greetings

I do not think it is wrong if it is consensual on the part of the slaves. However I would be very careful when messing with people's minds, you might unleash something you did not want. Also it is not that easy, yes one can mentally condition somone, but really most of the time hypnotism can not make anyone do something they do not want to do. It is not like in movies where the hypnotist can take over someone's mind. When hypnotism works 99 percent of the time it is because the target is cooperating, some say it is not possible at all to hypnotize someone to do something they are not cooperating with. I think you would get further with psychology and normal mental conditioning than with hypnotism, and either way it are skills it will take you quite some time to learn before you can use them for what you want.

I wish you well.

Yes it's wrong.  And you're going to Hell for doing it.
Hypnotism is the work of the fallen Angel Lucifer and you're letting the demons inside of your Slaves.
