Hey my 1st post here, i'v been a member for around a year now, but wondering if im at the right place.
Basically i luv bondage, tieing up, luv roleplay, luv dressing up for guys , basically what ever they want, but what im not is- a bitch who will take orders, yes i luv to take orders(roleplay), but at the end ov the day i have the final say. Am i at the wrong website ?

That's a bit rough HW old chap. The OP writes as she probably speaks which makes me think of a Londoner and possibly Cockney but then I may be way off......

OP you are in the right place. What you are describing is precisely of what many subs that I've come across here do. In fact they give their submission for a specific period of time and within agreed bounds. Not my cup ofn tea aqs my preference is for slaves but as I say that is just my preference. Good to see you here, just enjoy the boards and get to meet people here.

Welcome to Collarme, dizzyblond21.

There are people who are bedroom only submissives or people who only like the play aspect and not the "life-style".

This is not one size fits all.

So, you are in the right place, but if you drop the text-speak most people will respond more favorably to your posts.

If that concept bothers you, dropping it is not a requirement to posting, but you should have the awareness that text-speak does not generally draw favorable responses.

dizzy, you're what's known as a bedroom submissive.  You submit during play and nowhere else.

You might also see the same thing referred to as a "bottom". And not that I'm an expert, but my general impression is that the "bedroom only" crowd is, by far, the majority of the BDSM landscape. I think you're in the right place and in good company :)

OP. it works better if you think of it as both of you having the final say. You both have to be willing. You both have to want the same thing. That's called compatibility and the more of it you have, the better. You have it set up in your mind that you're going to win and he's going to lose. It shouldn't be like that. You should both feel like you've got what you wanted and you're both happy and want to do it again. A win/win scenario.

There is nothing wrong with being a bedroom sub; there are many permutations of what we do here, so consider it only the wrong place to be if you don't enjoy your time here.

IN my own head, I figured it must be the right place for me because I get value from some of what other people say and other people get value from some of what I say. I strongly suspect that's about the most "fit" that there is to be had *chuckles*.

I can't think of much more to add to what has been said here.  What you love in play and what you want outside of play are your choices.  They are among the many choices that others have made here so you are bound to find those whose choices either match or are similar to yours.  And learning about those choices that are different can only be helpful, especially if you take the time to learn why those choices were made.  WELCOME!
