I just do regular enemas.  Supposed to be "toxin cleansing".

Chelation, metal cleansing, is a very dangerous procedure. It should only be done by trained professionals in a clinical setting to someone with confirmed high levels of heavy metals.

I've done a body sculpt cleanse, which claims to detoxify all organs, and produce a good bacteria in your body. I didn't notice a change. I believe when they first came out (all the cleansing products) they were all hyped up to get rid of asthma and other chronic illnesses. As for the metal cleansing, I agree with DomKen -back in the day they used things like that to detoxify veterans who were poisoned, this type of cleansing was supposed to remove metal poisons and had to be done by a professional. As with anything, people take drugs and things into their own hands and become the "Doctor" - The metal cleansing is not made for or prescribed for just anyone.

To clean yourself out just eat a big bowl of oatmeal and drink a lot of water and juice.
All those infomercials on t.v. are just trying to sell you 50 cents worth of laxatives and spices for $49.
Noone has ,"20 pounds of waste backed up in them!" They'd be dead.

Cleanses are all just a bunch of hype. Unless you have a diagnosed heavy metal toxicity or something, you don't need chelation either. There is no reason for either. There is absolutely ZERO evidence to support the use of either in everyday people. The body is naturally self cleansing and detoxicifying, there is no need to take a bunch of expensive crap to do what the human body elegantly can do for itself.

I don't due a flush per se, but I drink pure Apple cider vinegar 4 times a day. 2 tablespoons in 8 oz of water. It has helped me alot.

Done them in the past, toxin flushes, but none lately although the parasite flush is intriguing me at present, that purely because of the modern patient attitude that humans no longer get internal parasites. I have a cat, so there is a possibility beyond the normal ways of obtaining parasites and the often thought of as psuedo science website Curezone.org indicates;

Curezone on human parasites

But sod the product they try to promote, I research the ingredients and make my own.

But not because I believe I have parasites, but because of the interest aspect, basically see what comes out if anything and draw my own conclusions from that.

If you think you might have parasites, skip doing anything that might have adverse effects at first and just have your doc order a stool culture. You submit a sample of your feces, and they test it for all sorts of parasites. I had this done when I was having chronic abdominal pain. Why assume you have something when you can easily test to see if you do? Then if you do, your doc can treat it with proper medicine, instead of a completely unproven method.

The old joke is that Americans have the most expensive urine in the world- given our penchant for things like vitamins and these kind of well, I'm sorry- but snake oil cures. Now apparently we've got the most expensive shit too.
