If you're having issues with anything to do with the tech side of CM, go to the other side, contact support (located at the very bottom) and tell them the problem you're having. They should be able to resolve things for you.

Try emptying your cache and clearing your cookies.

Mine does the same thing. Scares me to death with my daughter around. I will have to contact tech support, I guess. It's never done it before in all my time here - just up and started a few days ago.

most browsers these days come with a private browsing feature, this is very handy if you don't have your own computer, cause it deletes all cookies, history, user names, ect, automatically.if you have a newer browser, and you wanna keep your browsing between you and the faceless internet, then I suggest you use it.

Set your computer to delete history and cookies every time you close the browser and CM will be logged out.

If you want it to stay logged in, keep the cookies, cache, and history.

If it is glitched and won't stay logged in, clear the cache, cookies, and history then go reload.

CM keeps a cookie enabled so you are logged in the next time you go to the site.

If this doesn't work, ask the CM webmasters.

Just tryin' ta be helpful,
Stefan

Same problem...and it also started awhile back...I just close the page and clear the browsing history and the problem is solved. Your daughter cannot accidentally find the site.

I seem to recall that one has to log out of both sides of CollarMe.

I never log out.

IME, this is correct . If little ones are a concern, setting the browser to clear the cache and dump the cookies when closed is a good idea as well.

As mentioned, there are two web sites, Collarme.com & Collarchat.com.  You have to completely log off.

At the very bottom of the sign in page is a link to support. You need to use that to report a problem. Although since you're here, perhaps it is working.

For anyone having logout problems that for some reason has not contacted Support as they should have :
FOR IE USERS 6 and below:
Clear your cookies on the personals side. That should fix the problem.

Clearing cookies guide:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278835

For Firefox Users:

Clear your cookies on the personals side. That should fix the problem.

Clearing cookies guide:

To cloudgazer aka slavecassie1956 and numerous other nicks:

You have not activated the profiles, they ARE there. You are the ONLY user that is having this problem so it is something that you are doing. If for some reason you cannot get on the other side, and therefore cannot contact support, pm me from this side. However, if you can sign in on this side, and I can see you over there, it is something you are doing. I hate to do this on the boards, but especially since you received emails from the profile side, the only thing I can think of (since I cant see inside your browser) is how you have your cookies set to accept. Please make sure that for just a short period, you have your cookies set to accept EVERYTHING. Then when you see it is working, you can set for third party, session etc. You should always have your sessions cookies set to accept, but try enabling them all. If you do not wan to do that, click to override automatic cookie handling, and list Collarme.com there as one to accept from, and you should be good to go.

edited to add: For anyone having problems that is just wanting to switch sign ons and not worried about logging all the way out they can now to this link just to switch signon nicks:

http://www.collarme.com/personals/login.htm
