I've got a photo of a rose - I didn't see the dead black bug <?> as I shot. Would love to have an EXPERT try to make it go away, replacing with subtly shaded petals.

Well....looks like I'm late top the party. I suspect that poise has it covered and you're in good hands. If you have the camera RAW, I would like to suggest that you send that over to poise. Working with RAW rather than the camera JPEG compression is better to start when doing the type of editing you're talking about. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line.
