I was a praying mantis once. i made the head out of salt dough and a bicycle helmet, but the dough didn't dry all the way, and sort of fell apart.

In high school, my friend Sam and i (pam) were a can of SPAM.

I've been a bottle of Heinz ketchup.  One that I haven't done but still dream of trying is an oreo cookie.  I'd have a round sign board that looks like the oreo that opens up and says, "please don't fiddle with the oreo middle".

I attended a large Halloween party sponsored by one of the punk clubs back in the day. No costume for me that night but as I was going to grab another drink at the bar, in walked a rather large erect penis and the Virgin Mary. A few seconds later Jesus walked in with a cat person on his arm. Cock and Mary... pussy and Jesus... made sense in a way.

Every other costume was pretty run of the mill stuff.

One year I was a baby girl, another I was little red riding hood, and what I did was put on a red mole skin dress I had, red shoes, a red scarf and a red hair tie, and that was my costume.

One year I went as the girl next door cause I was to lazy to make a real costume.

This year I wanna go as a kitty girl I think.

I got the ears already, and I could put black on my nose an pencil in whiskers, and I could go in black leggings an a black top, my black kitty top has a rhinestone kitty face on it so that'd be perfect.

Or if I could find a skin colored leotard I could go out in that an say I am a nudist.

Hmm...when i'm not so lazy I will show you something I had made for halloween...oh yes there will be blood...

Anyway last year I was leatherface at haunted house, I would thrash about with a fake chainsaw and beat on the walls, sometimes actors would be dragged away by me it was real fun.

The year before that I was a serial killer, I dressed normal because they look just like everyone else.

My fav costume was Sam, from Sam & Max, it was a standard detective getup with a big fake magnum.

I used to work in a costume store, and would be in some sort of costume every day for weeks. It had to be something I could work in, though. Just a simple pair of devil horns works really well. A good set of fake teeth is fun all year round.

One of the easiest and most fun ways to go is with a referee shirt from a thrift store, sunglasses, and a white cane, with a whistle around your neck if you have a burning need to accessorize.

I have a really awesome vampires costume I have added to and fiddled with over the years. A long, black and dark red middle agey gown, a hooded black velvet cloak, custom made fake teeth, bite wounds and a good make up. I love it.

The year I was very pregnant with Oldest, I donned a nun habit, and had a sign hanging from my neck, proclaiming : The Devil did it!

I went wrapped head to toe in toilet paper, glued on here and there with some trailing and with fudge mix smeared here and there and everywhere.

I mostly go as book characters, Like Zoey from the house of night novels, a Mix between Eve and Clare from the Morganville vampire series

One year i was short on ideas, so I went as mundane (from immortal instruments series) Which means i went as a human that say hi my name is mundane number 13
