Dont forget all those cute and interesting alley ways!

Montreal is a very picturesque city for sure. Those sweeping views because of the mountain, the water because of the island and the architecture is very pretty. I think T-dot is more readily boring than Montreal but this city has some really awesome sights. Some of the homes are amazing. Even the semi's can be good. There is one house with a life sized elephant sculture in the front yars which pretty much only has room for the cute blue elephant.

Truly ... beautiful pictures!

Thank you for sharing!

Love Toronto and Montreal ... but we envy the hockey history!

Especially ... since so much of it happened ... at the Red Wings expense ... in the Stanley Cup Finals ...

GRRRRRR ....

Oh .. and Bobby Baun's, OT goal in Game Seven of the SC finals ... still roils the blood here ... 50 years later!

Mention Toronto ... and guess what comes up ... even though most .. have only heard of it!

Mention Montreal ... and I defer to Ron McLean ... "the legendary battles between the Montreal Canadians and the Detroit Red Wings"

Again .. we lost most SC Finals ... GRRRR

So with this background ... yes, I was shocked, visiting your city ...

BUT ... guess if someone from Toronto or Montreal visited Detroit ... the young bartender would say Pittsburg ... or ... "my parents"" talk about Colorado ...

So all is relative ...

The Montreal Canadians are pretty much the only reason anyone ever riots in this city.

Those Toronto photos: I saw a couple of trees in there in between the roads; there is hope.

We don't have riots here, either!

Just .... parties .... Detroit style!

Want to come to the next ... barbeque?

I can't go to the US. I "forgot" to get a passport. You should come here, we're still open.

LOL ... In fact .. I will undoubtedly visit your fair city, soon ... as I do have a passport ...

Perfect barbecue weather ... you know ... chestnuts roasting on an open fire ...

How about an electric Geo Foreman ... so as not to get everyone mad about the charcoal ?

I was born and rasied in Ottawa and now live near Toronto.  Who says no one barbecues in -40, during a blizzard and with a windchill factor to boot.  Wellllllllllll, have any of you met my dad lately?  He's the one standing out in said blizzard lighting up the big bbq cuz he INSISTS there's gonna be steak for supper.  Ahhhh, Ottawa in all it's winter glory.  And yeah, my bbq goes year round too, bundle up folks!!!
