Now Red, behave yourself! The only time I stockpiled was my first quarter in grad school. I knew I was going to be flaming busy (teaching 4 labs and taking 4 classes) so I stocked up on TP, paper towels, printer paper, and printer cartridges.

I tend to buy the 9 or 12 roll TP packs, and the 6 roll papertowel packs. I hate going to the store.

not so much on the paper towels. I usually have one roll going and a spare one. But the TP.. well.. I'm a little weird on that one. I live alone, but have to have a minimum of 6 rolls of TP on hand at all times, preferably 8. Don't ask me why, it's one of my quirks.[&:] I also have to have two extra tubes of toothpaste and two extra toothbrushes at all times. mbmbn

Yes, and I completely blame the habit on MP. I understood the habit when there were kids in the house, but they have moved out and it still continues. We've even had discussions on exactly what he considers a toilet paper emergency. (Less than three rolls.) Paper towels are the same thing. He buys the largest package available. I think the one that we're still using is from buying it in May.

No, since it's only me and 3 cats in my household, paper products last a while around here. Plus, I go to the store every week and can easily pick up what I need then.

In regards to "paper" products....when I started Uni I bought 5 boxes with computer paper on ebay...that way I knew I am never going run out of paper whilst writing my papers for uni and it did last me through all 3 years :o) It also happened as I got a better offer if I buy all instead of just 4. Currently I am on the last small package from the 5th box (2 or 3 of them I gave away to uni friends throughout the course). Gosh did I enjoy not to have to worry about having enough paper [:)]
