You want a list of all the fakes I've encountered on CM? I'd put some here but the fascists who moderate this little mental masturbation ward would pull it before my fingers came off the mouse.

I'm up to 246 fakes & scammers and that's just from the past 4 weeks. So don't give me your platitudes and CM defense lines - this place is crawling with BS.

~Dave

Exactly how are you determining that they are fakes?  I'm curious about the criteria.

You and I have never met.  To the best of My knowledge, we've never attended the same event.  You have no idea if what I have written in My profile is true or not.  Couldn't you just as easily put Me on your fake list?  What constitutes "proof of validity" in your eyes?

It seems to me lady Pact that many who rely solely on one site to find their perfect sub or dominant and then when they do converse with one and find that they do not live up to their overblown sense of fantasy; that is when they cry fake or phony. It is more logical to me that a person needs to stop placing a potential on such a high pedestal thus the expectations are more realistic and maybe - just maybe they will have better success in finding what they believe they want and need in another person.

In the time it took you to make that list, couldn't you have done something more constructive?

When you become jaded enough to keep a list of people you suspect are scammers and fakes...I dunno someone finish my sentence for me I just came home from work -_-

After a week of back and forth emails and a few phone calls, I agreed to meet a Dom from this site. He wanted to pick me up but I refused to give my address, saying I would meet him. All of a sudden I am fake. I just chalk it up to one less potential psycho in my life. If you can't understand the safety concerns of a single female (Domme or Sub) then so be it.

When you become jaded enough to keep a list of people you suspect are scammers and fakes...
you are vindictively squeezing dry rocks for contentment instead of taking the short trip to the fragrant nearby orchards.

It's all about the fruit juice.

SubPet, how'd I do? High-five? [;)]

SubPet715 -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/2/2010 9:43:21 PM)

High five and ten points for including fruit juice you gotta have that.

When I saw the above post go by on the scroll this afternoon, I knew right off that it was one of yours, Dave, and that's kind of pathetic. Apparently, you have issues with the site, the policies, the mods (name calling is against TOS, BTW) and everything else. Yet you are still here, complaining every time the opportunity presents itself... instead of simply limiting your search to those females less than 14 years younger than you and removing the weight restriction that you most likely have. Shocker, that will eliminate about 90% of the scammers and help you find real people. [8|]

So apparently its only American men who are fakes, and as they can’t read they only look at pictures, which makes me wonder what sort of c-mails all these cute animal profiles get.

You don't want to know. Seriously.

And yet I don't classify them as fakes! Fucking certifiably psychotic nutjobs, but definitely not fake [8D]

did it ever occur to those that create messages like that,... that perhaps that person just was not interested in them? that is just wasnt a match?

I used to read the journal entries but gave up because they're mostly one giant complaint ticket about fakes/scammers/spammers/users/anyone else the writer has an issue. It gets old reading such negativity.

I've met my share of people from CM and while only a couple were relationship material for me, I wouldn't say the others were fake. They were either not compatable with me or I wasn't what they wanted at that time.

Most people don't want to admit that they're not someone's cup of tea...they like to believe everyone should find them interesting. That word...should...is tricky, no? [;)]

BTW...congats on your own match.

sothernnyte -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/3/2010 11:25:40 AM)

thank you, BonesfromAsh.

i know it's tough keeping a positive attitude about things... but it has always seemed a much easier task to me to stay positive than to find every possible negative reaction i could have instead.

and Dave.... if your list of cons about the site are so great, why not leave the site forever. it's not like anyone is held here against their will.

SirGuy68 -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/3/2010 8:53:27 PM)

Reading all the replies, responses and ideas that have been entered ( too numerous to quote, and as I have said before I can not and at this point will not use the stupid quote button on multiple posts) in regards to the OP's original statement makes me wonder if a list of the OBVIOUS fakes, or a rating level of fakeness that one could read, similar to when you review a web outlet store and read the comments from previous shoppers . . .

- WORST PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. My order was back ordered for 5 days. THEY SUCK, I would not recommend buying from this sight

- -Ordered it , got it in the mail a day later, works fine.

- - - Ordered it, they sent the wrong item, called the 800 number and it was disconnected and the web sight is closed

. . would be beneficial?

The above examples makes the first hypothetical reviewer seem to be a bit... ahh can I use the word retarded? I would weigh very little into their negative review. A cleric detailed well written opinion either positive or negative would hold a higher level of bonna fideness.

Let me define an example of OBVIOUS FAKE in regards to CM. Don't worry mods I won't reference a Hostel scene or name a name.
My friend, a fetish model & performer had several of her images lifted and used for another's profile on CM. CLEARY the 'it' posing as an exotic domme looking for slaves and money and etc etc is fake. I know my friend in real life. I don't know 'it' but I know 'it' is not my friend.

My friend and I can prove that 'It' is fake. How about a picture of my friend and I standing in front of my town hall with a print out of 'it's' profile saying FAKE.

Now would 'it' and the other 'its' have to be a little more clever on the web? Would they have to work a bit harder? Would they slowly diminish and leave behind the sincere, bona fide persons? Would the cancer begin to subside? Would Collar me and every other dating sight just disappear?

Would any one give a shit?
Probably not. People hate to have virtual reality interrupted by life.

So getting back to the reviewer list of fakes. Could it hurt anything? Could it help define others opinion of fake that we could then rate against our own scale? The 'it' in the above example, is NOT a hypothetical example. It is true and 'its' profile is still listed on CM and 'It' still has my friends images on 'Its' profile.

( Ya know it would be a lot easier if instead of calling "it" it I could use 'Its' Collar Me name- Mistress.. no wait, let's use 'Its' last name only to not upset the moderators, XXX so you don't know "It' is Mistress XXX from NYC )

I suppose all the above is a moot point if one does not use the web, specifically Collar Me as a social networking and dating sight. If CM is just a virtual reality that life and this list would interrupt, I guess that would be virtual homicide.

This reminds me of a definition I once read. Do you know what virtual reality is? Suppose I offered you a million dollars to sleep with your wife and daughter. Virtually you would be a millionaire. In reality you'd be living with two whores.

I can envision the complaints already with this idea.

- " I know I am real and I would be offended to prove other wise. SOOOOO many people on here know me "

Counter Point - So then would Mistress XXX 's friends on 'Its' CM profile then be bona fide and therefor my friend and I are now the fakes? Perhaps all of Mistress XXX 's friends are not real, too?

- " No it would be a bad idea. Any body with photo shop could EASILY fub a picture to make some one else's profile seem fake "

Counter Point - If you consider spending hours in photo shop to create a green screen mask and correcting shadows, and colours and placing in back grounds, and taking a 72 dpi image from the web and bringing it to 600 dpi then I guess it is easy.

- "if two men say they're Jesus, one of them must be wrong "
Counter Point - I Don't know wtf that means and why I listed it. Must be the mushroom pizza and absinthe I had at dinner.

Be Well

BTY in direct rebuttal to sothernnyte your statement "how many of the people have they encountered <are> truly fake?
That statement answers it self. If they did meet then they are real.

ErrynRed -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/4/2010 12:37:07 AM)

I've run into a lot of obviously fake people, and I've also run into a lot of real people on here.

My issue is the people who think someone is fake, then proceed to harrass them and spread rumors with out evidence beyond their opinion.

It's a lot easier, and less dramatic to say nothing and either ignore them or block them.

I've gotten to the point where whenever I get a message asking for proof of me being real I ignore it as being from someone who just wants private ino they don't need, since cam, phone, or my personal IM seems to be the only accepted thing for them.

sarahcupcake -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/4/2010 1:50:07 AM)

.... gets up on her soapbox...... "ermm.... we all know there are fakes so there's no point in going on and on about it. it's always going to happen and we have to live wiv that. i think the best thing we can do is say nice things about the nice people and generally be kind and supportive. if i feel like saying bad stuff, personally i keep it to myself"

"god i think that was my first post here lol"

I guess My favorite ones are the "lesbians" that put gynecological shots on their profile and then SCREAM because guys look at them.  Hey bitches.  Guys like to lQQk at pussy.  Deal with it.

You dont want guys looking, have some self respect and put a g rated pic up.
I like to look at sensual, inviting, self-confident and self-lubricating pussies. Some pussies are just really pleasant to view; others are just boring, like most porn pussies that are only just post-pubescent, with no defining characteristics other than labia which are closed tighter than an oyster, with either that absurd-looking "landing strip" or else no fur whatsoever. I'm a MAN, and I like WOMEN, not tiny little Calvin Klein pederasts fantasies models.
Sweet, natural, REAL Hippie Chicks

I must admit that I do prefer shaved legs, though.

In a word... no. Blacklisting is verboten on this site, and for good reason. As for a 'rating' system similar to a web outlet store.... ummm, do you seriously think that people who get rejected for a personal relationship are going to be objective in their 'reviews'? It might work for pros, who are selling their services, but for those seeking a partner or partners for a relationship? *scratches head*
quote:

Gee, I dunno. Would you consider having someone that is pissed off at you for rejecting them make 20 new profiles that all rate you as a complete asshole, and having those 'reviews' where everyone that you are actually interested in will see them, to be okie dokie? [8|]

As for your friend, she needs to contact support about the stolen photos.

LadyPact -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/5/2010 9:09:27 AM)

Guy, Guy, Guy.........  We really need to work on your quoting efforts.  LOL.

Seriously, I'll take on the same one as I always do with you.  What you suggest in the above (allowing people to 'rate' others) is already there, in a sense.  The Positive Experiences forum is there for all to see.  It isn't as though people don't talk about the other members that they've met here.

Truthfully, I don't even see what the big issue is that so-called 'fakes' exist.  Do the folks in Nigeria that write soliciting money have a great impact on anyone's life?  Why are the people that don't want to meet that important?  Find someone who does.  It really isn't that hard.

How to report stolen photos

Myles -> RE: To scream or not to scream: Fake! that is... (9/5/2010 9:37:03 AM)

A fake ( and Im sure I'll hear some crap about this) is a person who Emails you says they are interested, several Emails ensue then a meeting is set up, they say they will be there and then no show.
