ORIGINAL: VioletGray Just what we need. Something to make kids sexier to our nation's pedophiles. You know, I can't stand baby pageants and the like, but I loved to play with my Barbies, and house, and wear my mommy's shoes. I even got into her makeup and made myself up... didn't you? Or did you miraculously know how to do all of these things at 14 when you went into high school? some of us never bothered with makeup even then and still don't use it very often. we weren't allowed to wear makeup in my house until high school. my mom's makeup collection was very sparse, my dad hated "painted ladies" after a tour in japan. my mom insisted that before we used makeup we learn to use it first, reading about the use of makeup and skin care and using it very sparingly. if dad didn't like the way you looked, you had to wash it off. these days my sons are in high school now and they find they like the natural fresh faced girls better than the ones who look like they trowel their faces on every morning. i look at it this way, if you don't like what you see, no amount of paint is going to change that. a horse's ass with an airbrushed finish is still a horse's ass. if you look at my profile picture, i'd just come from a party so yes, i am wearing makeup, a little eye makeup and such, but not much else. lipstick? tried it once, hated it. so why torture myself? who says women HAVE TO wear makeup at all? and why are we allowing our daughters to be brainwashed to believe it?
