So Im curious.

Hi Lusciouslips! Great question. My wife is a pre-op TG. We both get really into shemale porn. In actuality shemales are often considered a subset of the TG/TS population and shemale became a slang for the porn industry. It's usually considered a derogatory word by most trans. Most shemales I've met personally or come across in my research over the years actually come in 2 catagories. The majority of them have had more surgeries than hormones. Breast implants, facial reconstruction, adams apple shaving, lazer or eletrolisis for hair removal . . . the second catagory are those that are on some hormones and use a penis pump like alot of male porn stars use. But the majority are surgically altered so they can "get it up"

Straight guys who have sex with gay males (especially bareback) get paid better than most males in porn.

Depending on how long they have been taking hormones some transgendered performers can still maintain erections. Some of them go off and on the hormones to maintain that ability.

After talking to a good friend of mine, she said that often a male who is transitioning to female and on female hormones will and do lose the ability to achieve erections. So would make sense that many in the porn industry would go off their medications periodically.

Yep, got to second Stef on that one. I've known a lot of transgendered people so far in life. A lot waiting for surgery...well you get the idea.

I'm yet to see someone waiting and on hormones not get an erection when they are excited. Usually bondage plays a big role in that.
